ATAC PAC Meeting

Wednesday, October 1st- 5:30PM to 6:30PM

Greetings!

As a parent member of the After School Team Activity Club for nearly five years, I have experienced first-hand the value that ATAC provides our family and more importantly, my son Sean. I have no doubt that you too realize the gift that our community has in Ms. Beverly and her team.

To better support the work of the ATAC program, a group of parents are forming the Afterschool Team Activity Club Parent Action Committee (ATAC PAC). The purpose of the ATAC PAC is to "strengthen the bonds within the ATAC community of children, families and care giver through parent participation". To fulfill our purpose, we have established a set of goals that are summarized in the ATAC PAC mission statement:

"We are passionately committed to providing support, direction and involvement within in the ATAC community by fostering communication and bonding between our children, families and care giver."

To this end, I have volunteered as your initial ATAC PAC president. Together with Nancy Alby, your vice president, Vicki Newhouser your secretary, and a core team of interested parents, we are moving forward to meet our goals and fulfill our purpose. However, we need your help.

I consider the ATAC an invaluable resource and a part of our family's daily life; I believe you feel the same. I invite you to our next ATAC PAC meeting Wednesday, October 1st at 5:30 pm at the ATAC center. During our meeting, we will discuss the center's event calendar and look for ways we as parents can make a better community for our families and our children. Please consider joining us.
